15 players per class

We will be capping classes at 15 players. To reserve classes, please use the links below. It will take you to Signupgenius.com where you can sign up for a spot. If you are unable to make the reserved classes, please make sure you cancel to allow other players to sign up.

Note: If players are not signed up through signupgenius.com, they will be turned away. Also, failure to cancel a class will result in a $10 fine.

Fall Safety Protocols

Avila Soccer is committed to safeguarding the health of our players, trainers and staff. As we monitor Covid-19, we want to keep you informed about what Avila Soccer is doing to prevent the spread in our facilities. We will continue to implement protocols according to city and state guidelines for attending classes.

Please note that these are temporary protocols and may change due to government guidelines.

Contactless Infrared Temperature Checks

All staff members and Avila patrons will be screened upon arrival to check for raised temperatures or evident symptoms. Please wait to have temperatures taken before entering the facility. All facilities will be equipped with contactless infrared thermometers.

Wall-mounted Purell Hand Sanitizer Dispensers

Each facility will be equipped with wall-mounted Purell hand sanitizer dispensers. Please encourage your children to use often (as they enter the facility and when they leave).

Limited Facility Access

All facilities will be limited to 25% capacity (25 people total in each facility).

To curb the spread of germs and control group size, we will be requiring drop-off and pick-up of players only. Parents will be asked to not enter the facilities unless approved by a trainer. If parents are permitted to enter, they must wear a mask and they will be subject to temperature checks.

Doors will be propped open so players do not have to touch the doors. Based on outdoor temperatures, some facilities will have garage bay doors open for fresh air as appropriate.

Check-ins

Avila won’t be doing check-ins through the computer in the lobby, instead, trainers will do a manual, contactless check-in to take attendance.

Waiting Area

We have altered the fall schedule to make sure players are grouped by age groups. There are specific times per age group and we are asking that players be on time for the classes the signed up for. Once their session is over, players must be picked up by their parents so the facilities can stay at 25% capacity.

We understand that there may be situations where parents will be running late. If this occurs, your child/ren will be asked to sit in a designated waiting area until they are picked up.

*South Austin & Anderson Mill facilities have two entry doors to the lobby, please take notice of which one is marked entry and which one is marked exit.

Wellness Checks

Regular wellness checks will be conducted throughout the day. The parents of unwell children will be notified immediately, to help stop the spread of illness. Also, if your child is experiencing evident symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), they may not be allowed to train and are asked to please stay home.

Hygiene Practices

Restrooms will have hand soaps and everyone is encourage to wash their hands regularly. Signs will be posted displaying the correct way to sneeze into ones own arm for anyone with allergies.

Hydration

Avila is encouraging players to bring their own water bottles to camp.

No Dress Code

Avila Soccer is lifting it’s dress code. Armbands, wristbands and pinnies will not be used during sessions.

Protective Masks

Players: are required to wear masks when entering the facility, not training, in the lobby, using the restrooms.

Trainers: are required to wear masks at all times while in the facility.

Parents/Guardians: If allowed to enter the facility, parents/guardians are required to wear masks at all times while at the facility.

Per city order, protective masks are required to enter Avila facilities

Scheduled Cleaning & Sanitizing Intermissions

There will be increased time in cleaning and sanitizing balls, surfaces, and high-touch areas. We have also modified the schedule to allow cleaning and disinfecting intermissions between classes.

Turf Sanitizing

Avila Soccer will be spraying and sanitizing its fields four times more than originally scheduled.

Digital Cleaning Reports

A report will be submitted by the staff periodically at set times throughout the day in accordance with scheduled cleaning breaks to document all the cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas.
