Ball out of Play
- The ball is out of play when it touches any netting above the perimeter walls.
- The ball is out of play when it makes contact with the superstructure (ceiling/lights/beams).
- The ball is out of play when it makes contact with any player or spectator outside the arena walls.
Parent/Spectator Etiquette
- Cheering is encouraged, but please leave the coaching to coaches.
- Please respect the players, the XPL trainer and the other spectators. If the XPL trainer determines your behavior to be unacceptable, you may be asked to leave the facility.
- Any person who fights or abuses an XPL trainer will be required to leave the building. Any person refusing to leave after being asked by the person in charge, whether it is an XPL trainer or staff member, will result in the police being called and a complaint filed.
- Any person person who makes an attempt to intimidate the XPL trainer by the threat of physical abuse, pushing or attempting to make contact with the XPL trainer can be suspended from entering Avila facilities for a period of at least one (1) year. Any person who strikes or attempts to strike an XPL trainer, (or any employee) shall receive a permanent ban on Avila facilities.
End Zones and Side Zones
- End Zones: only one player from the opposite team may enter at a time
- Side Zones: these are no tackle zones, players are not allowed to tackle anyone in the side zones
- If XPL trainers feel more limitations are needed to get the players to play more fluidly, they could add end zones and side zones
