Emerging Score

EMERGING SCORE

100 Points

A theoretical score of overall current player level which is the sum of three Avila measures–Skills Score, Soccer IQ Score, and Competitive Zeal Score. It is not based on one live performance. Instead, a trainer will laser focus on just one aspect of the three measures on a given day. As results are recorded, scores continually get tallied throughout the month. What emerges is an up to date picture of a player’s different aspects of performance.

In the example above, the computed score of the three data points is 43, known as the Emerging Score.

The purpose of the Emerging Score is to give the player easy-to-see insight into their own strengths, unlike the Game Level score which is used to compare players to one another.

The Game Level asks “what level do I want to get to?” whereas the Emerging Score asks “what do I have to work on to get there?”
