3v3 Live National Champions
Avila Soccer-trained U9 and U12 boys won the 2011 3v3 Ultimate National Final of the 3v3 Live Soccer Tour held on January 15, 2011. Both teams could be seen training at the Avila Soccer Facility in Austin, Texas, on Thursdays afternoons throughout the past year.
These competitive teams were only two of the teams to finish in the top four at a 3v3 Live Regional Final and win the Open Division at the Regional Final. The competition included THE BEST OF THE BEST—no playing 30 seeds on the way to the Championship, just the top teams from the entire 3v3 Live Tour.
Top seeds at the 3v3 Live National Tournament Final were determined using a ranking system started in May 2010, where the top five teams per tour venue in each division accrued points based on placing at the local tournament and the number of teams bracketed. In this way hundreds of teams across the country from each division were rated.
3v3 U9 Champs: Jack Imperato, Daniel
Sustanta, Jo Koga, & Julian Lopez
3v3 U12 Champs: Antonio Lopez, Ben Collins,
Carlos Sustanta, & Carlito Gregory
