It's that time of year again. Time to supplement team pratices with focused development. To infuse on-field creativity that coaches and teammates will love. To give your child an edge to be proud of throughout the season.

All-You-Can-Train

This is an all-you-can-train camp...So come everyday if you like to one white class and one green class!

Avila Creative Soccer’s Winter Break Camp entitles your child to attend one age-appropriate Small Group Skills Class everyday. (Look for common age brackets i.e. ages 5-8, ages 8-11, ages 12-16). And in addition, your child can also attend one Specialty Skills Class each day.

Small Group Skills Classes and Specialty Skills Classes are always scheduled back to back, alternating throughout the day.

Shooting Mechanics

This product has quickly become a hallmark of the Avila Method because it yields quick results. The camp setting is powerful opportunity for meticulous review. In addition, we will work on specialty kicks, such as penalty kicks and bicycle kicks (overhead kicks).

Juggling

Juggling is an underrated skill that increases a player's touch on the ball. It promotes "two-footedness" and creative potential. We'll dare to deconstruct clever, artistic maneuvers (created to keep that ball in the air) that have been attempted and honed by both "playground legends" and famous professional players alike!

Defending

We help players gain clarity on jockeying and delaying, stabbing at the ball, shepherding, foot and hip positioning, aggressive play, decision making and slide tackling.

Dribbling

This class is just what is needed to help athletes who are not as assertive when in possession of the ball as they could be. It's a class for any skill level focused on showing players how to take the responsibility for attacking and penetrating versus a mentality of passing the ball off.

Goalie Class

Learn the mechanics and technique of diving and how to make the all-important “second save.” Our 12” diving mat allows players to train without fear, and in turn develop the ferocity and skill needed to defend the goal. This class is designed for those who wish to work hard in their pursuit of goal-keeping mastery.
