Join us for an alternative soccer experience! Our mission is to give children an alternative way to experience soccer that is free of competition and to teach them to be powerful without the pressure to perform. It's about tailoring a program to the needs of young athletes so that through the game they find a life-long friend. At Avila Soccer, we focus on multi-dimensional thought and non-traditional forms of athleticism—rhythm, coordination, originality, vision and creativity—rather than just speed and power.

Class Description

Our 45-minute lessons include: fitness with the ball, deconstruction of moves and tricks, tactical awareness, scrimmaging and confidence building. Many of the drills are interactive rather than solitary. Kids are encouraged to be assertive and make suggestions about the format and progression of the sessions. We don't use the traditional autocratic/dictatorial style, we use a participative/democratic model.

Facility

Our indoor, climate-controlled, synthetic grass training facility is state-of-the-art with air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. Come experience a facility that feels more like a home than a business. While your child receives personalized training, you can watch through shatter-proof windows, use our free wireless Internet connection, hop on a treadmill, or simply relax and unwind on our plush sofas. We record practice sessions on DVDs as a training aid and for parents.

Tuition and Schedule Information

Tuition is as follows: $94 per month for one 45-minute, small-group lesson per week. A small group is defined as 4-8 players of similar skill, experience, focus level, and/or ability. Ask about one-on-one lessons and team training; rates vary. Tuition is drafted electronically, through Visa/Mastercard credit or debit cards. There is no contract using this method, and you are free to discontinue lessons at any time. However, when you wish to stop lessons, you'll need to notify our training staff to discontinue charges for subsequent months.
